Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 (thiamine). Regular thiamine dissolves in water, and the body absorbs only limited amounts of it at a time. Benfotiamine's fat-soluble structure lets it be absorbed more efficiently, and it produces higher thiamine levels in the body than the same amount of standard B1. Each capsule provides 300 mg.
This formula also includes BioPerine®, a black pepper extract that's commonly added to supplements to support absorption.
