A 160-page, physician-authored guide to why nerve symptoms persist — and what the research actually supports doing about it. Instant PDF download.
Built for adults with tingling, numbness, or burning in the feet or hands — including those whose bloodwork came back normal and who were told to watch and wait.
Inside, you'll learn:
- Why peripheral nerves are unusually vulnerable to problems with energy, circulation, and inflammation
- What blood sugar does to nerve tissue long before it shows up on a standard panel
- The three-pillar protocol — nutrition, movement and recovery, and targeted supplementation
- What 12 commonly used nerve-support ingredients do, at what doses, and where the human evidence runs out
- Which drug interactions to raise with your prescriber before starting anything
- How to tell real change from normal day-to-day fluctuation
- How to evaluate any nerve supplement on the market, including the author's own
The PDF is searchable and every reference links out. Most people don't read it front to back — they look up the ingredient they're already taking, then read backward into the biology.
This is not a cure, a shortcut, or a replacement for medical care. It is an explanation of what is actually happening in nerve tissue, and what the evidence supports doing next.

The paperback is 6″ × 9″, perfect bound, printed to order. Worth it if you intend to mark it up, or if you want the drug-interaction appendix in a form you can hand across a desk.
Contents
What’s actually in it
Eleven sections, an appendix, and back matter. The first half establishes why nerve symptoms behave the way they do. The second half is what to do about it.
- Sections 1–3
- Why nerve health is so often misunderstood, how nerve signaling works, and the specific reasons symptoms persist — axonal integrity, myelin, mitochondrial energy, oxidative stress, microcirculation.
- Sections 4–5
- The lifestyle factors and nutritional inputs studied in nerve health, and the biology behind each.
- Section 6
- The protocol. Three pillars — Nourish, Move & Recover, Supplement Smart — with protein targets, an anti-inflammatory eating pattern, a sample day of eating, a four-part exercise protocol, sleep targets, and stress regulation. Ends in a one-page quick reference summary.
- Sections 7–8
- Individual scientific reviews of 12 ingredients: what each is, how it acts on nerve tissue, what the human research shows, why the dose was chosen, and where the evidence runs out.
- Section 9
- Formulation science — why ingredient combinations behave differently than single compounds, and the design rationale behind the NeuroAxis formula.
- Section 10
- How to interpret progress realistically. Why nerve change is non-linear, why plateaus are normal, and why “feeling no change” is not the same as nothing happening.
- Section 11
- A framework for evaluating any nerve-support supplement — dose sufficiency, pathway coverage, bioavailability, manufacturing quality, evidence depth, claim restraint.
- Appendix
- Safety, medications, and when to ask first. Interactions for all 12 ingredients, written for readers over 50 taking at least one prescription.
- Back matter
- A plain-language glossary of the terms that recur most, and a sources list — every named trial cited and checked against the published record, with the small, open-label, and off-population studies flagged as such.
The three pillars
Nourish
The nutritional foundation: protein targets for active repair, the fats myelin is built from, carbohydrate quality over quantity, and an anti-inflammatory eating pattern — with a sample day of eating and the foods worth limiting.
Move & Recover
Exercise reaches nerve health through at least five mechanisms at once. Aerobic base, resistance training, balance and proprioception work, low-intensity recovery — plus sleep targets, stress regulation, and where alcohol fits.
Supplement Smart
Targeted biochemical support across the pathways implicated in nerve dysfunction: mitochondrial energy, antioxidant defense, inflammation resolution, myelin and structural repair, and vascular support.
No single pillar is sufficient on its own. Nutritional adequacy without targeted supplementation leaves biochemical gaps. Supplementation without lifestyle support limits the biological environment in which nerve repair occurs.
The 12 ingredients reviewed
Each gets its own monograph — mechanism, human research, dose rationale, and limitations.
- Methylcobalamin (B12)
- Benfotiamine (B1)
- Vitamin B6
- Vitamin D3
- R-Alpha Lipoic Acid
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine
- N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine
- Bromelain
- Serrapeptase
- Coenzyme Q10
- Curcumin
- BioPerine
Three things that make this different
-
It was written by someone who has held the tissue.
Short passages titled From the Operating Room run throughout — what a healthy nerve looks like under magnification versus a chronically starved one, what waiting actually does to a nerve, and why “think in months, not weeks” was a description of biology rather than expectation management.
-
It tells you where the evidence is thin.
Four years of reading the peripheral nerve literature went into this book, and most of that work was deciding what not to include. The 2023 meta-analysis of ten alpha-lipoic acid trials found consistent improvement in symptom scores — pain, burning, numbness — and no significant change in the objective measures. People felt better; the instruments did not register a difference. Both halves of that result are in the book, because a citation is not the same as strong evidence and you should be able to tell which is which.
-
It discloses the conflict on page one.
I formulated NeuroAxis and I profit from it. That is stated in the front matter, before anything else. Section 11 hands you a framework for evaluating any nerve supplement — and it is the same framework I would want you to apply to mine.
Who it’s for
Read it if you
- Have tingling, numbness, burning, or altered sensation and were told to watch and wait
- Have symptoms but normal bloodwork
- Already take supplements and want to know whether the doses do anything
- Want to understand the biology well enough to ask your physician better questions
- Are managing nerve health proactively rather than reactively
Skip it if you want
- A cure, or a promise of one
- A replacement for medical care
- A shortcut
The book says all three of those in its opening pages. It isn’t any of them.

Questions
Is this the same as the free Nerve Health Blueprint?
No. The Blueprint is a 14-page overview — the short version of the approach. This is the full-length treatment: the biology behind each recommendation, individual ingredient reviews with the underlying human research, a drug-interaction appendix, and the cited sources. The Blueprint tells you what to do. This tells you why, and what the evidence does and doesn’t support.
Do I have to buy NeuroAxis to use the protocol?
No, and the book is explicit about this. Two of the three pillars cost nothing and involve no product at all. The book separates the framework from the formula deliberately, because the evidence behind nutrition and lifestyle is stronger than the evidence behind any supplement, including mine.
Is this medical advice?
No. It’s educational material, and reading it doesn’t create a physician–patient relationship. Nerve symptoms can have serious underlying causes that require evaluation. See your own physician — the book is designed to help you have a better conversation when you do.
I’m on prescription medication. Is the supplement section still useful?
That’s specifically who the appendix was written for. It covers interactions for all 12 ingredients, with four situations flagged as needing a conversation with your prescriber first — blood thinners among them. Bring that section to whoever prescribes for you.
Do I need a medical background to follow it?
No. Concepts are explained without jargon, and the glossary at the back defines every term that recurs.
How long is it, and how do I get it?
160 pages, delivered as a searchable PDF the moment your order goes through. The download link arrives by email and doesn’t expire. It reads on a phone, tablet, or computer — no app or account needed.
Can I get both formats?
Yes — they’re sold separately, so add both to your cart. Or order NeuroAxis, which includes the ebook free, and buy the paperback on its own.
What’s the refund policy?
Digital downloads are final sale — once the file has been delivered it can’t be returned. If something goes wrong with your download, email me and I’ll sort it out. Paperbacks are printed to order; if yours arrives damaged or misprinted, I’ll replace it.

Worth knowing before you buy
This ebook comes free with any NeuroAxis order
The book explains the formulation in Sections 8 and 9 — every ingredient, every dose, and the reasoning behind both. It didn’t seem right to charge for that separately when you’ve bought the formula it describes.
So: order NeuroAxis and the complete ebook arrives with it, at no cost. If you’d rather have the book on its own first, that’s a fair place to start — read Section 11 before you decide about any supplement, mine included.
