Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a fatty acid amide your body makes on its own. It's found in tissues throughout the body, including nerve tissue, where it's part of the body's natural system for maintaining balance and comfort. PEA interacts with a receptor called PPAR-alpha and works alongside the endocannabinoid system. It is not a cannabinoid and contains no CBD or THC.
PEA has been evaluated in many randomized controlled trials. Most of that research used micronized or ultra-micronized PEA, because standard PEA doesn't dissolve or absorb well. This product uses the ultra-micronized form.

How to use
The label suggests up to 3 capsules (1,500 mg) per day with water and a light meal. In published research, the most commonly studied amounts were 600 mg per day and 600 mg twice per day, which is roughly 1 to 2 capsules daily. Follow the label directions and your healthcare provider's guidance.
