Ongoing Metabolic & Fitness Coaching, Led by a Physician
The platform is new. The professional experience behind it is not.
I'm launching a new one-on-one coaching format built around the same metabolic health, nutrition, and exercise principles I used across 20+ years in clinical practice. This isn't a template, a meal-plan generator, or a supplement stack. It's ongoing, personal work — metabolic health and fitness, coached over time.
We start with a full picture of where you are, then meet twice a month to adjust your plan around your real physiology, your labs, your training, and the specific things actually slowing you down — with direct access to me in between. Most coaching gives you motivation without medical context. Most medical visits give you fifteen minutes and a prescription. This is the combination that's hard to find: a physician and exercise physiologist working with you, over time, on the metabolic and fitness drivers that determine how you feel, how you move, and how you age.

How Coaching Works
What's Included
On a GLP-1? Let's make it work better.
If you're taking semaglutide, tirzepatide, or another GLP-1 prescribed by your own physician, coaching helps you get more from it — and protect what matters most. We focus on preserving lean muscle, hitting adequate protein, structuring the right kind of exercise, managing appetite and side effects around your nutrition, and building habits that hold when you eventually taper off.
The medication handles appetite. Coaching handles everything the medication doesn't — so you lose fat, not muscle, and keep your results after the prescription ends.
Coaching optimizes nutrition and exercise around your existing prescription. It does not include prescribing or managing GLP-1 medications — that stays with your treating physician.
Who This Is For
This is a fit if you want an ongoing partner for metabolic health and fitness rather than a one-time answer — someone in your corner as issues evolve.
- You've stalled on fat loss after 40 and want a durable, physiology-based strategy — not another crash plan
- You're on a GLP-1 and want to optimize nutrition, protect muscle, and train effectively while you're on it and after
- You suspect insulin resistance or metabolic dysfunction and want it worked properly over time
- You want serious, evidence-based fitness and longevity — muscle, mitochondrial health, metabolic function — built with clinical depth, not coaching templates
- You want an ongoing relationship with real accountability, not a fifteen-minute visit and a handout
About Dr. Fitzmaurice
Dr. Michael Fitzmaurice is a physician, exercise physiologist, and published author. His path into medicine started in exercise physiology and nutrition, followed by a Master's in Biomedical Science, before completing medical school — a foundation that shaped how he thinks about the body's metabolic and performance systems long before he ever picked up a scalpel.
He spent more than 15 years as a fellowship-trained peripheral nerve surgeon, performing 3,000+ nerve and regenerative medicine procedures and publishing peer-reviewed research. What he saw in those years changed his focus: the patients who recovered fastest were almost always the ones whose metabolic health was intact. Insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and muscle loss were upstream of nearly every outcome he tracked.
His work now focuses entirely on metabolic medicine, nutritional science, fitness, and longevity — the upstream drivers of weight gain, fatigue, and accelerated aging that rarely get addressed in a standard appointment. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the leading professional organization for physicians in metabolic and longevity medicine.
